Wet Felting Rolling Mat

Wet Felting Bamboo Rolling Mat and netting:

Bamboo rolling mats are a must if you intend to do lot's of wet felting as they speed up the process of binding the fibres.

The rolling mat is laid out first and then you lay your fibres on top. After you have laid out your fibres and are happy,

You then place the netting over your work before starting to add the hot soapy water which you gently rub.

After you have gently rubbed the fibres and they start to bind, you then roll roll your work up in the mat and roll like pastry.

Be certain to take your work out and turn, again like pastry as you want to keep you work as close to your original shape as possible,

If you keep rolling in one direction your work will become longer one way.
