Terms and Conditions of Use

Below we have set out the terms and conditions for shopping with us online via the Woollie and Feltie website www.woollieandfeltie.co.uk

Please read this information carefully. By using the website or submitting an order you are agreeing to the terms that appear below.

Definitions to Help you

"you" and "your" means anyone who uses the website or orders products from Woollie and Feltie.

“Woollie and Feltie” or "we" or "us" or "our" means Woollie and Feltie, Unit 10b Nazeing Glass Works, Nazeing New Road, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, EN10 6SU

"website" means www.woollieandfeltie.co.uk

1. Shopping Online with us

1.1. To place an order on our website you must provide a full and correct delivery address and have a valid credit/debit card or PayPal account in your name and which is acceptable by us.

1.2. By shopping with us you agree that the details provided by you are correct and complete. If you have registered as a customer, you should inform us of any changes to the information that you provided on registration at  www.woollieandfeltie.co.uk   If you have only shopped as a guest then this is not necessary.

1.3. When you register as a customer you will create a password combined with your email address which you will use whenever you shop with us. Please keep these in a safe place as you will be responsible for all activities and orders made under your password and username.

1.5. We reserve the right to decline a new customer registration or suspend your account at any time and at our sole discretion.

2. Price, Payment and Delivery

2.1. Whether you have logged in to our shop or are shopping as a guest, the prices displayed will be the prices you will be charged (including any promotional offers which we will automatically deduct). Payment will be taken at the time the order is placed.

2.2. You can redeem Woollie and Feltie Gift Certificates via our website. To redeem the Certificate on our website you will need to enter the code in the ‘Gift Certificate’ field available at the online checkout. You can check your Woollie and Feltie Gift Certificate balance  via your online account by clicking store credit or gift card. Please note that if the value of the item being purchased online exceeds the value of the Woollie and Feltie Gift Certificate you must use a valid payment method to provide the outstanding balance.

2.3. In the unlikely event that your order contains items that were incorrectly priced by us, we reserve the right to adjust your order when it is received by us. we will endeavour to notify you of this prior to the order being adjusted.

2.4. Shipping in the UK on orders up to £50: Royal Mail 2nd Class £3.95, UK: Royal Mail 1st Class £4.50, Shipping in the UK on orders over £50 are free unless you require 1st Class where a charge of £5.25 will be applied. All overseas shipping Is set at Royal Mail 2nd Class £13.50 or £18.50 for Royal Mail 1st Class
Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is within a maximum of 7 working days for orders in the UK. Please allow for extra delivery time for any orders outside of the UK. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within 28 days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date.

2.5. If you place an order from outside of UK to be delivered to a non UK address, you must select your country in the ‘Delivery’ section of checkout. Your credit or debit card provider will convert the transaction to your own currency at the current exchange rate. Please note that choosing the wrong country may result in incorrect shipping being applied to your order. We reserve the right to adjust your order after it has been submitted if you choose the wrong location from the list of countries when placing your order.

2.6. Please allow 7 working days for delivery before contacting us to chase your order. All products are delivered either by courier or by post, depending on their size and value. On rare occasions different products in the same order may be delivered separately.

2.7. International customers please note: If your parcel exceeds 1kg, we reserve the right to amend shipping charges. If this applies to you we will contact you at the earliest opportunity.

2.8. We accept payment from MasterCard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, PayPal and Woollie and Feltie Gift Certificate only through the. Woollie and Feltie website.

3. The Contract

3.1. you may only purchase products from the website if you are at least 18 years old. By placing an order on the website you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old and we are entitled to rely on that confirmation.

3.2. Once you have placed an order on the website we will send you an email acknowledging your order providing you have provided a valid email address. Once we have delivered the products to you, you will become the owner of the products. This means that you will have no legal liability in connection with your order until the products have been delivered to you.

4. Our Products

4.1. Our products aim to comply with your legal rights to be of satisfactory quality, to be fit for purpose and to match their description. These rights are known as your statutory rights.

4.2. The images of the products on the website are for illustration only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the products. your products may vary slightly from those images. The packaging of the products may vary from that shown on images on our site.

4.3. we do not supply products for resale; all products supplied are for your own use. we reserve the right to refuse any orders that we consider are for commercial or non-domestic purposes.

4.4. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control workshops and events may be cancelled. we can't held liable for any travel costs incurred. If you cancel your place on the workshop within 7 days of the event taking place, unfortunately you will still be charged.

5. Returns

5.1. If you wish to return your goods, you can return them in a saleable, odour free condition within 28 days of receipt for a full refund, in line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return postage. We cannot accept responsibility should your returns go missing.

5.2. All returns are required to be accompanied with a covering letter and a copy of invoice or receipt.

5.3. We will only provide a full refund of postage costs for a returned item if the return is a result of an error that the company has made or the goods are faulty.

5.4. Patterns & Pattern Books are NON Refundable.

6. Amends

6.1. Once your order has been placed and paid for, it can not be amended.

7. Cancelling your Order

7.1. Please contact us as soon as you can if you with to cancel an order. If the order has not yet been dispatched we will intercept it and refund monies paid to the original payment channel.

7.2. To cancel an order please contact us the preferred method is to telephone Customer Service on +44 07816 308001 quoting your order number. If Customer Service is closed then contact us using this form giving your reason and order number.

7.3. If your order has already been processed then you will need to return it to us within 28 days and we will reimburse you for the cost of the products only.

8. Special Offers Promotions and Competitions

8.1. From time to time, and in our complete discretion, purchases of products may be subject to special offers.

8.2. We may change the terms of special offers, or withdraw them altogether, at any time and without prior notice. Subject to section 2, we will honour at the offer price any order placed by you before an offer ends, or is amended or withdrawn.

8.3. We reserve the right to offer in our complete discretion different customers different special offers, promotions and the ability to enter different competitions.

8.4. Only one discount code of any type may be used per transaction. If we believe, in our reasonable opinion, that a discount code has been used more than once, we reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to not apply the discount code to the transaction and to take full payment using the payment method selected or to cancel your order.

9. Our Right to Change these Terms and Conditions

9.1. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time

9.2. Every time you place an order with us, the terms and conditions and www.woollieandfeltie.co.uk in force at that time will apply to the order.

9.3. Whenever we change these terms and conditions, we will keep you informed and give you notice of this by stating that these terms and conditions have been amended and the relevant date at the top of this page.

10. Our Liability

10.1. Whilst we seek to supply you with quality products we cannot be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage or loss of profits or reliance you had in having the products delivered to you, arising out of our supply or failure to supply the products to you.

10.2. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

10.3. we will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these terms and conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment, road traffic problems.

10.4. Other than as set out in clause 10.1, our maximum liability arising out of any order for the supply of products to you will be limited to the price of the products contained in that order.

11. Other Important Terms

11.1. we may transfer our rights and obligations under any order to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these terms and conditions.

11.2. Each of the paragraphs of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

11.3. All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. you are permitted to use the material data and content only for your personal use in placing orders through our site, and you may not otherwise copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit, use or create derivative works of any material data and content on the website without our prior written permission.

11.4. If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these terms and conditions, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

11.5. These terms and conditions regulate the supply of products to you by us. Any other terms, conditions or representations (other than those made fraudulently or implied by statute) are excluded.

11.6. we may include links on our website to other sites that are not controlled by us; we are not responsible for the content of such websites.


11.7. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This means the purchase of products through the website and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by the law in force in England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
